Beginner 4 level description:

This course is ideal for individuals who have taken Beginner 3 level course or similar before. Throughout this level, you will acquire fundamental language skills and knowledge.

Here's an overview of the topics covered in Beginner 4:

COMMUNICATION: Writing a letter or email to a friend, taking about daily activities, talking about work.

GRAMMAR: Interrogative pronouns, present tense - indicative, verb conjugation, negative form in verbs, plural form, verbs followed by a preposition.

VOCABULARY: Parts of the body, expressions with ser, expressions with estar com, verbs: gostar, ficar, beber.

Next Level: Portuguese Beginner 5

POR-Mastery. An all-adults class.

Mastery level description:

A great course for those who have completed Portuguese Advanced 5 level or similar.

Students will continue to strengthen their knowledge of complex grammatical and syntactical structures to improve their language skills, while exploring a richer and more diverse vocabulary. They will learn how to deal with linguistically unfamiliar situations and coping with complex communicative exchanges. Through theoretical readings, critical discussions, debates, writings, and cultural products and practices students will develop their intercultural competence and sensibility.
