Teaching Method: Native-fluency instructors guide students to use Arabic actively in the classroom through interactive activities, grammar practice, visual aids, and conversation. Instructors incorporate complementary audio and visual elements so that new vocabulary and grammar are practiced and reinforced in different ways, keeping lessons engaging, varied, and participatory.
Beginner level description: This course is ideal for students who are 14 to 17 years old and are new to Arabic. Students will begin building a foundation in both reading and speaking while learning to communicate in simple ways.
Beginner 1 level content: The Arabic alphabet (groups 1–2), vowels, joining letters, putting words together, simple sentences, masculine and feminine nouns, greetings, introducing yourself, and meeting someone for the first time.
Next level: Arabic Beginner 2 or greater.
