A great course for those who have completed Spanish High Beginner 2 level or similar. Here is a summary of what students will learn by the end of the High Beginner 3 level:

COMMUNICATION: Talk about experiences and value them, value people and things, express desire of doing something, give advise, talk about feelings, describe pain and symptoms, talk about habits and circumstances of the past, locate actions in the past and in the present, argue and debate, tell an event in the past, sequence actions, express emotions.

GRAMMAR: Uses of the preterit perfect and preterite, me/te/le/no/os/les gustaría + indefinite, exclamative sentences, uses of the verbs ser and estar, verb doler, form and some uses of the affirmative imperative, imperfect tense, ya no/todavía, temporary markers for the past, temporary markers for the present, irregular forms for the preterit, contrast between the preterit and the imperfect, forms of the past of estar +gerund, temporary markers to tell stories

VOCABULARY: Parecer, caer bien/mal, pasárselo bien/mal, places of interest and cultural offers, parts of the body, feelings, illness and symptoms, trips, historical eras, life cycles, historical events, emotions.

COMMUNICATION: Personal information, greet people, express intentions, describe places, talk about the weather.

GRAMMAR: Gender, three conjugations -ar, -er, -ir, present tense, verb estar, uses of hay, and quantifiers.

VOCABULARY: Numbers, nationalities, professions, alphabet, languages, hobbies, weather, geography.

Next level: Spanish Beginner 1.3 or greater.

SPA-BEG-2. FIRST part of the three-course long Spanish Beginner 2 sequence.

GRAMMAR: Demonstratives, el/la/los/las + adjective, tener que + infinitive, verbs ir, preferir, gustar, possessive, present tense of irregular verbs, reflexive verbs, cardinal numbers.

VOCABULARY: Numbers from 100, colors, clothing, common daily objects, family, adjectives of personality, music, days of the week, parts of the day, daily activities.
