The intention of Akhanda Rest is to offer a grounded, lineage-rooted space for deep rest that supports nervous system regulation, inner steadiness, and sustainable well-being. This offering honours the Akhanda Yoga tradition by guiding students through a complete and progressive practice, allowing rest to arise naturally through preparation of the breath and body rather than as a stand-alone technique. The intention is to provide a quiet, supportive container for restoration that feels accessible, intentional, and deeply nourishing.

This Women’s Circle is a sacred space to pause, reflect, and honor the seasonal shift into autumn.
Together, we will soften into practices of movement, meditation, journaling, aromatherapy and sound healing that guide us toward letting go of what no longer serves, and welcoming the wisdom and rest this season invites.
As the trees release their leaves, we too allow ourselves to release old patterns, emotions, or stories that we no longer need to carry.
In community, we remember that letting go can be gentle, supported, and sacred.
Our intention is to leave feeling more grounded, connected, and renewed — nourished by the presence of one another, and held by the rhythms of the earth.

Yoga Critical Alignment Therapy (CAT) is a mind-body therapeutic method that focuses on identifying the underlying causes of chronic tension, postural imbalances, and stress patterns, especially around the spine, hips and shoulders. It then works to release these tensions through specific movement, breath work, and use of specialized props.
The practice integrates physical alignment with psychological awareness and aims to restore functional movement, emotional balance, and a deeper connection between body and mind.
