Join Narayani (Noelle Whittington) and her band in a musical celebration of an interactive music meditation called Kirtan. The word Kirtan means “to glorify”, and is one of the ancient, sacred practices of Bhakti (devotion) Yoga, singing either all together (Bhajan), or call and response. This practice can be a powerful, connective experience, promoting feelings of peace and connection. Kirtan has evolved into the World music genre with many different interpretations, calling upon many different spiritual traditions and many styles of music. No experience or a “singing voice” is necessary. You'll be invited to listen and enjoy, or sing your heart out as you like! All are welcome to experience this powerful form of sound meditation in your own way. Narayani is a sacred music artist from Wilmington, NC who frequently accompanies other recording artists, and is currently recording her own album.
