There is a pulse beneath the thinking mind—a quieter, wiser intelligence that knows how to guide us toward deeper self-understanding. In the Tantra–Hatha tradition, we meet that wisdom through prana: the living movement of breath, sensation, and subtle awareness.
This immersive weekend retreat invites you to explore the heart of yoga through three experiential lenses: the focused practice, the churning practice, and the receptive practice. Together they create a full arc of inner transformation: grounding, awakening, softening, opening.
Held in the historic Stockade Inn, surrounded by beauty and comfort, this retreat offers a nourishing blend of practice, inquiry, rest, and community.
This retreat is an invitation to:
- Deepen your practice
- Engage honestly with what arises
- Honor the challenge and the sweetness
- Rest into your own inner knowing
- Allow prana to shape, guide, and speak
If you feel ready to enter a weekend of contemplative practice, courageous inquiry, and profound rest, we would be honored to share this journey with you.
Join SAH (Somatic Activated Healing) MethodTM certified creative healer Ashley Rutledge and Sound Artist Charlie Adinolfi for a healing journey that blends the power of movement and sound. Presence is invited through dancing into stillness where we can witness our inner worlds and get to know what it’s like to be fully embodied.
Ashley will lead a 45 minute SAH MethodTM practice where we blend body key movements with breathwork and mantra to move with emotional energies. Participants will be invited into trance dance spaces where the limits of time are transcended and a healing flow can be experienced. Your full expression is invited to the dance floor, and all emotions are welcomed as guests.
Charlie will then create a 40 minute soothing soundscape to seal in the positive energies, and allow the body to settle into stasis. Sound heals in subtle and powerful ways. This practice is perfect for getting in touch with your inner landscape and learning how to trust the flow of life.
No dance experience necessary, just a willingness to see what happens when you drop the stories and be with the feelings. This is a trauma-informed practice so it’s up to each participant to notice where their edges are and practice using discernment to see where capacity and consent live in the body. Let’s dance and heal for those who can’t - spreading the power of heart-centered liberation for all!
