Understanding the pelvic floor is essential for helping clients move, breathe, and perform at their best—especially during pregnancy, postpartum, or when navigating symptoms like leaking, pain, or core weakness. Yet most yoga and fitness education barely scratches the surface of how this vital system actually works.
This training bridges that gap. You’ll learn the functional anatomy of the pelvic floor and how it connects to breath, posture, and full-body movement. We’ll break down common myths, explore how to identify and address dysfunction, and teach you how to confidently cue, modify, and support your clients through every stage of life.
By the end of this workshop, you’ll:• Understand the role of the pelvic floor in movement, stability, and strength• Learn how to integrate pelvic floor awareness into yoga and fitness programming• Gain tools to help clients manage or prevent symptoms like incontinence, pain, and prolapse• Feel confident creating classes and sessions that are inclusive, empowering, and evidence-basedThe information presented is designed for yoga instructors, personal trainers, fitness coaches, and movement professionals who want to expand their knowledge, elevate their teaching, and better support the people they serve.
