Kids Yoga + Wellness Summer Camp
Available for kids 6-12
Are you looking to give your child an opportunity to experience something new while supporting a healthy well-balanced lifestyle? If yes, then this is the summer camp for your kid!
Yogashala is offering a 2 full weeks of summer day camp. We have a beautiful location on 2 acres of property just a short drive from Waterdown, Burlington, Carlisle and surrounding areas with lots of room to run and play, we are offering something unique and special for the children of our community.
The camp will be a well-rounded experience for your child with daily arts and crafts, camp games, scavenger hunts, gardening, and a variety of age-appropriate yoga + meditation practices. Each day we will follow a theme, accompanied by activities to meet that theme. Themes will include such things as Beach Day; Every Day is a Birthday; Pirate Day, Dress-up in your favourite character Day + more.
Your child will have an opportunity to experience a variety of yoga in an age-appropriate way: hatha; rope wall yoga; SUP yoga using the indoor stability boards; a special SPA yoga class; sun salutations; yin yoga using blocks and bolsters, a walking meditation; and Chair Yoga.
The week will end with an afternoon family yoga class where the kids can bring parents, grandparents, caretakers or another family member.
This experience will be fun, enriching, and educational therefore limited spots are available for this camp.
July 15th - 19th | 9am - 4pm
July 22nd - 26th | 9am - 4pm
Before care arrival is 8:30am and after care is until 430pm please email lindsay@yogashalawaterdown.com if you will be needing this, there is no extra charge.
Cost is 350.00 per child

The Camp is created + lead by Sandra Andreychuk, our in-house youth yoga teacher and her sister Karen Maxwell who is an Early Childhood Educator.
