This is a six-week series for deep but gentle strengthening to bring more confidence, stability and comfort to your practice.
Intended for people of all levels who want to deepen their practice and learn the proper engagement and alignment at a slower pace.
Learning to engage the muscles of the deep core and properly align can be extremely challenging and often requires guidance. For this reason, classes will be run informally with opportunities to ask questions. The benefits of this series will not only be seen in your yoga practice but also during daily activities as you will become more body aware.
The series is being kept to a small number of participants, which will allow for everyone to progress effectively and receive personalized variations. Each class will begin by learning to engage the deep core and end by incorporating that engagement through yoga postures. As well, all classes will be broken up by periods of rest with time to stretch and create space.
You will end the series, feeling stronger and with tools to use in everyday life allowing you to move safely, whether that be at home, in yoga, or other forms of physical exercise.
