Vision Board Workshop

This workshop will include discussion about our intensions for the new year 2023, which we will solidify with affirmations, mantras and visual imagery. Susan will explanation not only how to create a meaningful vision board but also how to use the board mindfully throughout the year. Before creating our vision boards, there will be a 30 minute guided meditation. This experience should provide you with the necessary tools to aid you in the construction of YOUR best life. We will work to create a more meaningful & fulfilling life, showing you the importance of clarifying what you want and identifying why you want it. Get ready to have fun!

 

What is a vision board? A vision board is a collage of images, pictures, and affirmations of your dreams, goals, and things that make you happy. It can also be called a treasure map or vision map.

 

Workshop Level

This workshop is for anyone interested in learning how to manifest their future dreams.

 

Notes about the day:

  • You may bring any printed material like magazines to share.
  • Also bring any inspiring pictures or printed quotes that mean something to you
  • We will provide each participant with structure, writing utensils and foam board.
  • Please bring an open mind and a willingness to explore and have fun!

This highly focused breathwork experience is designed to take you on an extremely powerful journey of self discovery. Using conscious connected breath, music and prompts, you will be guided by the facilitator Shawna to open up the layers of the logical mind and dive into the inner recesses of the subconscious mind-where infinite possibilities exist.

This journey can be mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, psychedelic, difficult, easy, all the above or none of the above. Our body understands the breath more than any other external source. All that is needed is the ability to suspend judgement and to surrender allowing the breath to take over so the outcome can unfold. “

Preparations:

Wear loose and comfy clothing, especially nothing that restricts the stomach, diaphragm or lungs. • Try not to eat an hour or two before a Breathwork session. However, it is best to not come hungry. Eating something light and easy to digest is preferred such as a smoothie, tea, fruit, etc. If you can, before the session stretch your body and move a little. • Create your nest by bringing a blanket, mat, perhaps eye mask, a journal and water.

Intro to Hot Yoga Series - Breakdown of the 26 poses

This workshop will break down yoga poses in a 26 pose series. We will learn the correct alignments, modifications, the purposes and benefits of each pose, etc. The 26 poses are designed from simple to complex and intended build strength, flexibility, balance, focus, present moment awareness and to open the entire body for THE master pose - savasana.

This clinic is great for beginners as well as experienced practitioners who want to be more skillful in their practice. Jennifer will teach a yoga class broken into sections- Sun Salutations, Standing Poses, Balancing Poses, Spine Strengtheners, Heart Openers, Hip Openers and finally Finishing Poses. After each section, Jennifer will explain, analyze and discuss each pose in detail focusing on correct form and answer any questions you may have. This is a great clinic to understand each pose and to ensure a successful, safe, healthy and sustainable yoga practice.

Students should bring a mat, towel, water, notebook, and pen. The workshop will be in a warm room. Virtual Option is available for livestreaming attendees.
