Summer Schedule Update!

Hi everyone,

Summer is officially here, and with it comes vacations, kids' activities, sports schedules, cottage weekends, outdoor adventures, and all the other things that make this season so much fun.

We know that for many people, summer can make it harder to stick to a regular fitness routine. That's exactly why we've designed our next 11 weeks of programming with flexibility in mind. June 22nd - Sept 5th

Our summer programming will continue to focus on strength, movement quality, and long-term progress while allowing members to jump in and out as schedules change. Whether you're here 3-4 times per week or only making it once or twice a week during a busy season, you'll still be able to participate and feel successful.

A reminder that fitness does not have to be all or nothing.

If your usual routine is four classes per week but summer only allows for one or two, that's okay. One workout is better than none. Consistency looks different in different seasons of life, and sometimes maintaining your fitness is a huge win.

Think of these next 11 weeks as an opportunity to maintain the strength, fitness, and healthy habits you've worked hard to build so you're ready to hit the ground running again in the fall.

Summer Schedule Updates

As we do each summer, our schedule will be slightly adjusted through July and August.

• Sunday classes will be paused until September.
• Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm will alternate between Yoga and Mat Pilates.
• A 6-class Mat Pilates series has been added on Tuesdays at 10:30am with Dayna from July 14th through August 25th (please note there will be no class on August 4th). This series is a great option for anyone looking to improve core strength, mobility, posture, balance, and overall movement quality through low-impact exercise.
• Saturday mornings now include:

  • 7:00am HYROX

  • 8:00am Full Body Strength & Functional Training

Many of you have asked about the difference between these two Saturday options.

Our 7:00am HYROX class will continue to focus on conditioning, endurance, running, and HYROX-specific training.

Our 8:00am Full Body Strength & Functional Training class will focus more on strength, mobility, stability, balance, and functional movement patterns. While you'll still get a great workout, the emphasis will be less on conditioning and more on building strength and moving well. Expect a mix of dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, carries, core work, and functional exercises designed to support everyday life.

If you're looking for a more cardio-focused workout, HYROX is likely your best fit. If you're looking for a full-body workout that emphasizes strength and movement quality, the 8:00am class may be a great option.

A Reminder About Class Cancellations

As many of you know, classes require a minimum of 3 participants to run. During the summer months, attendance can become a little less predictable as schedules change.

To be respectful of everyone involved, classes that have fewer than 3 participants registered may be cancelled up to 3 hours before the scheduled start time. This gives members enough notice to adjust their plans and helps us avoid last-minute cancellations whenever possible.

We understand that summer is busy. Between vacations, sports, family activities, social events, and simply enjoying the nice weather, routines often look a little different this time of year.

That's okay.

Your goal doesn't have to be to do everything perfectly. Sometimes success looks like showing up once or twice a week, staying connected to your routine, and maintaining the progress you've already worked so hard to build.

We're looking forward to another great summer and can't wait to see you in the gym.

See you in class,

The Iolite Team
