Pilates mat class is a low-impact, bodyweight workout that focuses on core strength, flexibility, muscle tone, and posture. Instead of using large machines, you perform a series of foundational, fluid movements entirely on a floor mat. You will flow through classic exercises like “The Hundred,” roll-ups, and leg circles in various positions. Movements are slow, intentional, and strictly synchronized with your breathing.While the core routine relies on your body weight, classes often incorporate props like resistance bands, magic circles, or light weights to add variety. The outcome? Long lean muscles, improved posture and core strength and enhances flexibility of both the extremeties and spine! All levels welcome.
