The Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year, a natural pause point in the rhythm of the seasons. A time when the earth rests deeply, inviting us to do the same.
Join Angel Loflin, RYT500 of Evergreen Holistic, for a nourishing evening designed to support rest, reflection, and gentle renewal as we move through the quiet threshold of the solstice.
Rather than pushing toward goals or resolutions, this workshop offers space to soften inward. Through restorative yoga, guided meditation, and intentional journaling, you’ll be supported in releasing what no longer needs your energy and connecting with a sankalpa, a heartfelt inner resolve that arises from a place of deep listening rather than effort or striving.
This is not a practice of doing more, but of allowing, settling, and remembering what feels true beneath the noise.
The evening will
include:
• A slow, supported restorative yoga practice
• Guided meditation to support the emergence of
sankalpa
• Journaling prompts throughout class, inspired by the season of
darkness and return
• A calm, candlelit atmosphere to encourage nervous system
reset
We have limited props available in the studio, and you’re encouraged to bring anything that helps you feel especially supported and comfortable.
Suggested items to bring:
• Journal and pen (journals will be available if
needed)
• Two or more bolsters or standard pillows
• Two yoga blankets, throw blankets, or large towels
• Yoga strap, tie, or bathrobe belt
• Two yoga blocks
