This special mom’s only edition of The Assentials is designed specifically for moms in the postpartum stage who want to rebuild strength in the glutes and core. Let’s face it, we all know these areas need some TLC after having a baby! The class centers around controlled, functional movements that safely strengthen the glutes, deep core, and supporting muscles of the hips and pelvis.
The best part of this special class is that we want you to bring your baby! Participants are encouraged to wear their baby in a carrier for many of the movements, which can add gentle resistance while keeping baby close and calm. If babies need a break, they can relax nearby on a blanket, play on a mat, or stay comfortably in a stroller beside mom. The environment is intentionally relaxed and supportive, recognizing that babies may need attention during class. Snacks from Amara baby foods will be provided for those who are old enough to enjoy solids.
Because every postpartum journey is different, the class will focus on low-impact movements, controlled tempo, and options for different comfort levels. Modifications are always provided so each mom can work at her own pace while safely reconnecting with her body. To ensure safety and proper healing, participants should be approved for physical activity postpartum by their healthcare provider before joining.
Overall, this class is about more than just exercise—it’s a supportive space where moms can rebuild strength in their glutes and core with their baby.
