StepUp Challenge Starts on April 1, 2026

The StepUp Challenge isn’t about hitting a perfect number every day — it’s about building momentum, feeling better in your body, and discovering how small daily movement adds up.

​Whether you’re already active or just getting started, this challenge is designed for EVERYONE. No workouts. No equipment. Just walking — at your pace, in your day.

The StepUp Challenge runs April 1–30, launching on National Walking Day.

Your goal: Average 7,000 steps per day over the month of April.

Some days will be higher, some lower — consistency over time is what counts.

This challenge used the StepUp app - this is an entirely free app and downloadable through your phones app store. StepUp allows you to pair your favourite fitness tracker or app to the StepUp app for tracking. You can use the StepUp app without additional devices by simply keeping your phone on your person to track your steps!
