Coach Krystal played four years of Division I softball at Jacksonville State University. Was the starting left fielder and lead off hitter for three consecutive seasons. Won female athlete of the year award in senior season. One of the most productive hitters in JSU history. Still holds career records in the top 20 players for Hits, Doubles, and RBIs. Had a career batting average above. 300.Played four years of varsity softball at Wylie High School as a pitcher/outfielder and power hitter. Lead the team as offensive player of the year during sophomore, junior and senior seasons. Had a career batting average of .377 and a posted a 31-19 record in the circle with 235 career strikeouts and a 1.88 ERA.Played club softball for Texas Glory.
