So glad to be starting back with CNU FIT after a long dry spell forced by COVID 19. New trainer seems excellent, she listened to what I had to say and we took it easy, focusing on core and stretching. I train at the DAFB gym, and if there are any clients (or potential clients) who can get on base and use the MWR facilities, I highly recommend talking to Evans about training there...so many machines, free weights, other cool things like Battle Ropes, climbing ropes (you use sitting down), and they have all the horns bells and whistles such as balls, cords and a variety of warm up equipment.
Togar Johnson is one of the first people in the country to become a Certified Metabolic Advisor, which helps promote healthy metabolisms through proper nutrition, exercise, body chemistry, and supplementation. Togar served as an aircraft fire and rescue firefighter for the United States Air Force for over seven years. Being an all-around athlete, fitness has always been a major part of his life, but understanding nutrition was not. Togar’s most important wakeup call was when his father died at a very young age (54) having suffered from diabetes, high blood pressure, high stress, and cardiovascular issues due to being overweight. At that point, Togar made a commitment to not only change his lifestyle for the better, but to help others to overcome their health issues through metabolic coaching, personal training, accountability, and encouragement.
