Nayelly Melo Dorion is primarily a wife and mother of two handsome little boys. She is also an entrepreneur, professional chef and Kundalini yoga and kids’ yoga teacher.
Nayelly specializes in healthy food and deeply cares about people’s health and well-being.
When Nayelly was 15 years old, she was inspired by her mother to practice Kundalini yoga and Hatha yoga and wherever she lived, she would always look for a place to keep up with her practice.
Kundalini Yoga helped her deal with everyday stress, maintain her focus and drive in everything she did and open her intuition allowing her to follow her instincts to make the best decisions in whatever she would put her mind to.
However, Nayelly has always had a passion for cooking. She started cooking at a very young age helping her grandma in the kitchen but it wasn’t until after she completed her Masters in International Business in Geneva, Switzerland that she decided to become a chef. She returned to Miami, Florida and attended Johnson and Wales University, where she got a bachelors degree in Food and Service Management and an Associates degree in Culinary Arts in 2013.
Since then, Nayelly worked in various restaurants, lived in and traveled to many different countries, where she got her inspiration for cooking. Among those countries is India, where she experienced and learned about Ayurveda lifestyle. She later researched more and took various courses, allowing her to apply and create her own fusion cuisine based in the Western pallet and the Ayurveda and Yogi lifestyles.
Also inspired by her love for people, her yoga practice and after seeing how this practice helps many people balance and bring happiness back into their lives, Nayelly decided to become a kids yoga instructor, a gong therapist and a Kundalini yoga teacher.
