As a Pilates teacher and movement coach, my aim is to empower every client in their quest for physical mastery.
I first encountered Pilates as a way to regain core strength for aerial dance after pregnancy. It's been over 15 years and I remain fascinated and challenged by the method and philosophy of Joe Pilates.
In addition to Pilates certification, I have trained and performed contemporary dance and dance theater in Seattle, learning somatic and developmental movement sequences in dance training. I have found these primal movement patterns useful in training new mind/body connections with clients who have chronic pain or who are looking for a break-through from poor postural habits.
