Learn to incorporate Pilates exercises for the frail older adult including assessment of posture, balance and functional strength. Seated and Mat exercise followed by Reformer, Trapeze Table, Combo Chair and Spine Corrector will be demonstrated and practiced in labs for the participants. Contraindications and precautions for osteoporosis, arthritis, and common medical conditions in the frail older adult will be discussed.
