1.15 minutes functional Hatha practice celebrating flow and individual movement.
This practice will inspire the students to be guided from the deep within, moving with a deep balance of proprioception and interoception. The aim is to create a feel and look of each asana to fully serve each individual student. Even though we are all doing the same pose, none of us will feel the same nor look the same! It is time to celebrate our uniqueness!
This practice is followed by a 45 minutes asana lab and dissection of poses for a greater understanding of functional asana practice = 2 hour session
Here we pause for a 30 minute break.
The next session will be Yin yoga for your spine.
This Yin practice will move the spine in a deep and powerful way exploring the spine’s full range of motion. We will investigate your individual way to move, elongating and compressing your spine, understanding why all these movements are necessary for our spine to be healthy.
While we are gaining all the physical benefits from the practice, Mysan will share insights on spinal anatomy, the nervous system and the energy of the spine. This session will highlight why it is so important to move this incredible part of our body though our unique range of motion on a regular basis.
After practice follows an inspiring discussion and Q&A so you can gain even further understanding and awareness.
