INMAN WELLNESS CENTER RENTAL POLICIES AND CONDITIONS
The following Facility Rental Policies and Procedures apply to all events held at the Inman Wellness Center. However, the terms and conditions of each rental contract may vary.
Use of Inman Wellness Center Facilities
The following fees are for the use of the facilities equipped as is. The contractee assumes the responsibility for the care of the facility and agrees to pay for any damages to the facility, beyond normal wear, related to its use of the facility. In addition, the contractee agrees to assume responsibility to enforce the Inman Wellness Center’s policy that the use of tobacco, non-prescribed controlled substances or alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be used in the facility, either by an individual, the group, or other participants.
No items may be stored overnight without prior consent of the Inman Wellness Center/Recreation Director. Any non-approved items left after the event will be regarded as trash and removed. The Inman Wellness Center expects that all trash is taken out and any spills to be cleaned up.
Glitter, confetti, flower petals, streamers, potpourri, seeds, candles, and sparklers are prohibited from use at the Inman Wellness Center. The use of tape, wire, staples, nails, tacks, glue, and similar are prohibited from use for securing decorations unless approved by the director.
Items for the event may not be delivered to the Inman Wellness Center prior to the contracted event date. There will be no exceptions. The Inman Wellness Center staff is prohibited from loading/unloading, moving, or conveying any deliveries, equipment, or decorations.
Without the express written permission of the Inman Wellness Center’s director, the title “Inman Wellness Center” can only be used in the promotional literature, invitations or event flyers as the location of the event.
Contractee must contact the Inman Wellness Center Facility Director 7 days prior to scheduling the event date and for complete program review. The Inman Wellness Center director/board has the right to disapprove of any or all aspects of the contractee’s event at any time.
Financial Obligation (deposit and fees)
Payment for the use of the facility is to be made in advance to the Inman Wellness Center unless other arrangements have been made with the facility director. The contractee agrees to pay the facility rental fee ($25/hour) and any additional fees, assessments and damages described. Additional charges may be assessed after the fact if the contractee fails to abide by the agreement of the contract.
Contractee agrees to indemnify the Inman Wellness Center, its officers, directors, and employees from any and all actions, losses, damages, claims , or liability that may occure as a result of the holding of the scheduled event and incurs and assumes all responsibility for actions, losses, damages, claims, or liability caused by not adhering to Inman Wellness Center’s policies, and guidelines (as established in the Facility Rental Agreement).
Manager on Duty
All evening and weekend events, outside of the facility staffed hours, are required to have Inman Wellness Center Employee on staff the entire time of set-up through clean-up of the contractee’s event. The charge for a staffed employee is $7.50 per hour, and the contractee will be charged for the staffed employee. The Inman Wellness Center will arrange for that staffed employee to be present.
The following areas are restricted from used during the event: Cardio Room, Weight Room, Children’s Room, and Directors Office.
