The film follows Glastonbury resident Kim Hoffman, who—while facing terminal illness—spends her final months advocating for the legalization of Medical Aid in Dying in Connecticut.
Through intimate storytelling, My Friend Kim explores the emotional and ethical complexities of choice, dignity, and compassion at the end of life.
Following the film, stay for a panel discussion featuring:

Maribeth Abrams – Director
-
Joy Cipollo – Kim’s widow
-
Tim Appleton – Campaign Director, Compassion & Choices (invited)
-
