Are you struggling with memory, focus, or finding the right words? You’re not alone. Many people affected by cancer experience cognitive changes, often referred to as “brain fog.” This can impact daily life, making it harder to concentrate, problem-solve, or complete tasks efficiently.
Common symptoms include:
- Memory concerns
- Difficulty finding words
- Reduced attention and concentration
- Slower information processing
About the Program
This free, eight-week program, developed by Dr. Heather Palmer
(PhD, Neuropsychology) of Maximum Capacity, provides education and
practical strategies to help manage and improve cognitive function.
Each session includes learning, discussion, and exercises designed
to enhance memory, focus, and overall mental clarity.

- Offered in-person
- Tools and strategies to improve memory and task management
- A supportive space to connect with others experiencing similar challenges

Who Can Join?
This free program is open to individuals affected by cancer who are
experiencing cognitive challenges. Participants must be able to commit to all 8
sessions. Due to high demand, spots are reserved for those who have
not taken this program before. This program is not intended for
caregivers.
This program is free for those affected by cancer, thanks to the generosity of our donors. Participants must be aged 18 or above to take part in this program.
