Trapeze Yoga is a wonderful way to add functional movement to your fitness routine. You will work on strength, balance, flexibility, and inversions. All the inversions are done in a very safe manner, with the help of the rig (trapeze) and handles, to allow you to safely get in and out of the poses. Don't like to invert? No problem, we do a lot of other great poses, and you can skip the inversion portion of the class if you wish. This class is open to all levels and everyone will be included.
We will guide you step by step on all of the exercises. This is a really complete and fun workout! You will work your entire body.
We will end the workshop with a long coocoon Savasana (final relaxation pose) while Tibetan singing bowls are played.
There'll be plenty of opportunities for photos and socializing! Light refreshments will be served at the end, and you will have an opportunity to ask questions and share your thoughts on the class.
Special Instructions
Wear comfortable/ snug workout clothes. Nothing too loose or with a lot of accessories (avoid zippers, buttons, ties, or straps). Leggings and a T-shirt will be perfect. The class is taught bare feet, or you can wear your barre socks if you have them. Try to arrive early to get settled and acquainted with our studio, especially if it's your first time with us. Most importantly, come ready to have a great time! Trapeze Yoga is a lot of fun.
