Heat Alchemy Sessions

Want a more spiritually and psychologically guided yoga practice in the heat?

Love being in tune with the elements through your body's movement?

These sessions have been developed from previous "Deep Heat' workshops where time and space are given for introspection, meditation, and sometimes written reflection to give context for the hot yoga alchemy experience.

Here, we savour a full 90 minutes for more focused intentions and creating a purposeful process through elemental asana sequencing.

This is a guided session where you you be led into different aspects of the physical and energetic body/mind to shed light of awareness on any issues, fears, doubts, or confusion that you bring with you to the session.

Deep relaxation and time for group sharing make this a more connected and holistic experience that will create a lasting impression on those in the group.

Bring yourself in your fullness, or your fear, to face what you are 'dealing' with. This is a safe and supportive environment for healthy group connection, where we can offer non-judgemental witnessing for support.

Special Instructions

By signing up for this workshop ALL PARTICIPANTS agree that they will prepare themselves for the experience by:

  1. Drinking water and electrolytes for 3 days prior to the workshop, and after.
  2. Abstain from ALL recreational drugs and alcohol for 3 days prior to the workshop, and after for best practice.
  3. Check with your healthcare provider about any contraindications for exercise in the heat with medication, supplements, or pre-existing mental or physical health conditions.
  4. Committing to self-responsibility by assessing your ability to participate on the day of the workshop (i.e. cancel if unwell or unprepared).
  5. You will need to plan your meal times for the day to ensure you have eaten a healthy breakfast/early lunch no later than 3 hours before class.

Please bring the following:

  • A bottle of water/electrolytes (studio provides water refills and electrolytes for purchase)
  • Healthy snacks to share afterwards (nuts, fruit, etc)
  • Yoga mat, towel & resourcing props to support your practice
  • Towel (for showering after class)
  • Change of clothes
