Have you been transported to a deeper place of creative potential, and spiritual connection through heat rituals?
'What happens' in a hot yoga session, a steamy bath, or a sauna that makes you come out feeling revitalized, clear, clean, strong, and resilient to the waves of life?
Questions like this have tantalised Anne Marie for years, and why she has created a space for more fluidity and depth when moving in the heat. Inspired by many transformative heat practices held in both spiritual and seemingly non-spiritual everyday settings, she seeks to bridge the gap in perception for why humans are healed and fortified by the heat.
In this session, we explore elemental movement with heat as a catalyst for transformation. Imagine a hot yoga session, with less routine asana prompts, and freedom for more fluid movement. You will be given a basic structure and suggestion to move along with, yet, the experience will change each time.
The practice becomes structured by the deeper resonance of your body's makeup - what it craves, needs, and wants, as you awaken and emerge... feeling more alive.
We will invoke intentions and support from traditional earth-based lineage directions and spirit guides for stepping into the heated environment in this way. This will set the scene in our safe ceremonial container for the inner work being done as we explore heat-charged movement practices.
Following the movement, we will dive deep into a drum-induced Shamanic journey, then return to share space with one another to help process and integrate our experience.

All levels and experience with hot yoga/heat practices are welcome, however, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you have attended at least 3 hot classes before participating in this workshop.
Special Instructions
By signing up for this workshop ALL PARTICIPANTS agree that they will prepare themselves for the experience by:
- Drinking water and electrolytes for 3 days prior to the workshop, and after.
- Abstain from ALL recreational drugs and alcohol for 3 days prior to the workshop, and after for best practice.
- Check with your healthcare provider about any contraindications for exercise in the heat with medication, supplements, or pre-existing mental or physical health conditions.
- Committing to self-responsibility by assessing your ability to participate on the day of the workshop (i.e. cancel if unwell or unprepared).
- You will need to plan your meal times for the day to ensure you have eaten a healthy breakfast/early lunch no later than 3 hours before class.
Please bring the following:
- A bottle of water/electrolytes (studio provides water refills and electrolytes for purchase)
- Healthy snacks to share afterwards (nuts, fruit, etc)
- Yoga mat, towel & resourcing props to support your practice
- Towel (for showering after class)
