In this 3 hour workshop we will look at several different techniques to release and awaken the musculature and fascial systems of the hips as well as the nervous systems relationship with your flexibility.

If you’re looking to improve your hip mobility, pelvic stability, lower body strength, and range of motion / hip flexibility; then this is the workshop for you.

You will learn:

• Strengthening for the muscles that support the lower back and hips
• Myofascial release
• Neural gliding for common sciatica problems and other major nerves in this area
• Pelvic stability for posture and balance
• Hip joint mobility and range of motion exercises
• Yin yoga for the hips

The goal of the workshop is to give you some tools to continue to work on your own hip awakening at home. 

Joanna Ferret is a professional dancer and Yoga teacher, training to be a physiotherapist. She has an extensive range of training focused in anatomy and biomechanics, fascia and nervous systems.

She is a Bhakti yogi with her personal practice focusing more on the chanting and devotional practices of yoga. However, her knowledge of the physical is always happily shared. She is a bubble of energy and loves to teach and share her knowledge.
