We'll begin by collectively setting intentions, uniting as a group before embarking on a journey with the medicine of breath. Guided by the wisdom of this feminine teacher, we'll explore breathwork techniques to connect inward, igniting our inner fire within. This will rejuvenate both body and mind, preparing us for what lies ahead.

With our minds and bodies primed by breathwork led by Macaulay, we'll then embrace the cold, a masculine medicine, willingly immersing ourselves in icy waters. Through this experience, we'll learn to consciously respond to stress in our lives, discovering stillness, calmness, and inner strength, leaving us energized and revitalized.

Following this transformative cold immersion, we'll transition into a session led by Anne Marie, where she'll infuse the space with the warmth and depth of Hatha/Vinyasa Fire. In this session, you will be invited to remain in the inner depths created through breathwork and ice immersion, and use these tools to support a similar, but contrasting experience using the heat.

Anne Marie will guide you through more activating and energising breath practices and movement as a way to embody the wisdom received, and to move any processed emotions through heat facilitated yoga postures.

This is surely a perfect combination to touch the edges of your hyper and hypo activated extremes, but to be guided and held in a safe, supportive and knowledgable context. 

Together, we'll explore the balance between fire and ice, movement and stillness, in practices designed to nourish both body, soul heart and mind.

Macaulay is a cold alchemist, shamanic practitioner, and certified Wim Hof instructor. He works with the cold, breath, and indigenous medicines to help individuals connect deeply, finding peace and centeredness in our busy modern world, thereby cultivating a greater sense of wellbeing... “My journey with these transformative tools began during a challenging period of my life, where I faced addiction, depression, and anxiety. These practices empowered me to recover and thrive, and now I am passionate about sharing them with others.” At the upcoming Fire and Ice event, he will guide participants through a powerful breathwork session and will stand with you as you connect with the cold in these powerful practices to inspire personal growth and healing.

Anne Marie is a heat alchemist, yogi, and studio director. She has been using heat for transformative purposes since beginning hot yoga over 15 years ago. In her yoga teaching, she emphasises the power of heat for supporting lasting lifestyle changes. Much more than 'hot yoga' for sweat and flex imagery, Anne Marie has cultivated wisdom from her personal experiences with the heat and other cultural and historical uses of heat to create unique spiritual heat experiences such as Heat Alchemy Sessions and Shakti Fire: Devotional Heat Ceremony.
