The Soma Sessions are a space for all women and feminine bodied persons aged 18 years+ to embrace their physical freedom, release emotional and cellular stagnation, and sexual shame. Allowing ourselves to feel into pleasure is an act of rebellion in our current culture where working and being busy is greatly prioritised over presence, playfulness and rest.

The purpose of this space is to rebel against this; to slow down and to feel instead of numbing out, by exploring movement through curated music, specifically designed to elicit sensation, unravel movement, and allow you to drop into your feminine body and its unique expression.

While the space is open for sensuality there is no requirement on how you dance or what you wear. This is not an intentional space for dancing with others although you may enjoy to do so, this is a space for your own healing experience and ability to expand your relationship with your soma (body) and sensuality in mind.

What you can expect:

-A fresh curated playlist each month ranging from soul, house, pop, techno, disco, hip-hop and everything in between.

-Light refreshments; herbal tea.

-Grounding and housekeeping to set the space.

-A space for curiosity, embracing imperfection and letting go of needing to ’look a certain way.’

-A space for playfulness, free of sexual shame.

-Connection: a shared space with like-minds (and all ages!).

-You may find that you want to remove clothing in this space, nudity is respected and welcomed, however this is NOT the expectation.

-If you are offended by nudity this might not be the best space for you.
