Derived from the Sanskrit root meaning to call, recite, or to cut through, Kirtan is a practice of singing and chanting along with instruments to cut through the idea of separation, to connect to our hearts, to each other, and to the moment through sound. Each chant involves repetition and often call and response, revolving around a specific mantra. Mantras contian a sacred sound formula that has specific focus and energy. Come to shift your psyche into Divine prescence and you will find laughter, joy, and community. Special guest, Margo's oldest daughter, will be joining in on this session.
