Yoga Alignment Clinic: All levels Join E RYT 500 Yoga Teacher Lisa Longo and Physical Therapist of 35 years and STOTT Pilates Instructor, Melissa Condron for a two hour workshop designed to help you understand your practice from a structural and functional lens.

 

This clinic explores Warrior 1, Warrior 2, Crescent Lunge and multiple twisting postures with a focus on how the body organizes itself through the anterior and posterior chains, how to engage key muscle groups and how to support healthy spinal rotation.

 

You will break down how each posture loads the lower body, how hip mobility influences depth and stability, how the core integrates with the legs and how shoulder positioning affects balance and ease.

 

Melissa will highlight the role of the glutes, hamstrings and calves along the posterior chain, as well as the quads, hip flexors and deep core along the anterior chain.

 

Lisa will guide you through applying that knowledge on the mat so you can feel the difference between passive shapes and intentional activation.

 

Together they will help you understand how to create strength through proper muscle engagement, how to access rotational patterns safely in twisting postures and how to use alignment principles that support longevity in your practice.

 

You will explore modifications that meet your body where it is today and learn variations that challenge you in a sustainable way. You will leave feeling strong, fundamentally challenged and recharged, confident that you are maximizing the benefit of each posture with clarity, skill and purpose.
