“Where your eyes go, your mind follows.”
Have you ever noticed how easy it is
to lose balance in yoga when your gaze wanders?
Or how comparing yourself to others or syncing your pace with
theirs pulls you out of your own experience?
Our eyes often lead our minds outward
— to distraction, judgment, comparison. In yoga, we call the
practice of turning our senses inward Pratyahara: the withdrawal of
external focus to reconnect with our inner landscape — with our
True Nature.
In this unique 90-minute Fall Slow Flow, we’ll explore that very
practice — with the support of a blindfold.
When we remove visual input, the mind naturally quiets, and we
begin to feel more deeply:
*The sensation of breath moving through the body
*The grounding of feet on the earth
*The subtle shifts of energy and emotion
*The presence of being rather than doing
Samantha will gently guide you through a slow, steady vinyasa
practice, incorporating grounding postures, mindful movement, and
breath awareness. With blindfolds provided, this class invites you
to trust your body, tune into your inner awareness, and move from a
place of calm stability and deep connection.
