In celebration of 2026 and the one-year anniversary of Rogue Valley Yoga in our new home, Sarah Sol and Krista Holland will co-lead a New Year's Mala accompanied by Sacred Drumming music. This event will be followed by refreshments and a chance to connect with the community.

The Mala traditionally consists of 108 sun salutations, often performed during periods of emotional, spiritual, or environmental transformation. This New Year ritual is designed to be a challenging and rewarding experience that combines movement with group meditation.

Led by Sarah Sol, the physical practice will be accessible to all levels with ample props and modifications provided for each individual. We will conclude the session with an extended Restorative Yoga Nidra and guided meditation.

Sacred drumming serves as a powerful meditative tool that synchronizes our mind, heartbeat, and vital energy. Led by Krista Holland, local drummers will fill the studio with primal beats throughout the Mala.

After the practice, we invite you to stay for refreshments and to enjoy some community time together.

Please note that refunds are not available, and a 24-hour cancellation policy applies to this workshop. No-shows will be charged the regular price, regardless of member options.

Parking: For our Monday-Friday 9am-5pm classes, parking is available both in the parking lot in front of the studio and on Hersey street. Please note that the spots directly in front of the studio are limited during this time, so if you're able to walk up the stairs to the back entrance, we kindly ask that you park on the street to reserve those front spots for individuals who may need extra ease of access.

For all classes before 9am, after 5pm, and on weekends or holidays, ample parking is available in the lot in front of the studio. Thank you for your consideration and cooperation in helping us maintain a smooth and welcoming experience for all students! If walking or biking is an option for you, ask for an RVY pedestrian punch card. 1 free class for every 12 times you walk or bike to class. :)

Studio Etiquette

1. Gear to bring: mat, towel, and water bottle. If you do not have a mat, we have a limited amount of yoga mats to lend you. Please spray and wipe the borrowed yoga mats when you have finished practicing. You can fill your water bottle from the filtered cooler at all locations.
2. No shoes are allowed in the yoga practice space. Please remove your shoes in the entry area. If a student requires indoor footwear for stability and/or safety, accommodations will be made upon request. Email Sarah or speak with your instructor if this accommodation concerns you.
3. Cell phones must always be fully silenced in the yoga studio space.
4. As a courtesy to all, please arrive to class in clean exercise clothing that allows you to move freely and comfortably. Deodorant is strongly encouraged. Refrain from wearing perfumes/colognes.
5. If the class has already started when you arrive, come in and sit toward the back of the practice space until the class starts moving. Wait until the teacher has completed the intro and/or meditation before you roll out your yoga mat and retrieve the necessary props. The teacher will let you know when it is appropriate to set yourself up.
6. If you must leave before the end of class, please pack up and exit BEFORE Savasana begins (final resting pose) so that you do not disrupt the final meditative portion of class.
