Description

Indulge in a transformative wellness experience that combines the healing benefits of ritual, restorative yoga and the soothing sounds of sacred instruments. This workshop is designed to explore the practice of deep listening and conscious relaxation.

Simple rituals incorporating oracle cards and writing are incorporated into the workshop as a way to cultivate grounding, gain clarity of intention and to create a clear connection to your own intuition.

Restorative postures, which are often supported by blocks, bolsters, and other props, are held for 5 to 20 minutes as a way to maximize comfort and to allow the body to practice shifting from fight or flight into rest and digest. This is the space where healing and regeneration occur.

Sound healing is so much more than an auditory experience. The sounds act as a focal point for the mind to rest on, allowing us to enter into deep states of relaxation and meditation. 

The culmination of these practices can create states of consciousness that provide an opportunity to release deeply rooted tensions & emotional blocks.

Special Instructions

The studio will have 1 bolster and 2 blocks for you to use.

Please bring.... 

  • *Your own mat if you have one. Having two layers of cushion can feel supportive for this practice.  

  • *Two small blankets (Think about something to cover up your whole body with and another to use rolled under you) 

  • *Large towel or tight woven yoga blanket.  

  • *Washcloth, eye mask, or small cloth to cover the eyes.  

Wear comfortable clothes. Layers are always helpful so you can choose how warm/cool you would like to be.
