Description
Tired of the same old yoga
sequences?
Are you starting to feel your body getting strong in one direction
from repetitive movement, but weak in other planes from that same
repetitive movement?
Meet functional yoga: intelligent sequencing with a practical
application. Put aside everything you know about traditional asana
come learn to move your body the way it was designed to move - in
all the planes and in different ways each time.
Kate Stone and Nathania Stambouli will teach you how to create
dynamic yoga sequences that will get bodies moving better than ever
and peak to advanced poses safely, all while juicing up your
creative sides.
Whether you are looking to build a home practice, better understand
your own mechanics, or you are a certified teacher looking to
valuably give your students an innovative movement class, this
weekend will give you the skills to incorporate other movement
modalities into your yoga practice so you can build sequences that
make you feel READY for where you’re headed.
This 10-hour training includes anatomy, rolling around on the
floor, sequencing rubrics, two full practices, and fun.
A sampling of topics to be covered:
-
How things are connected
-
