Description
An evening filled with feel-good, partner-assisted yoga and the
chance to learn and receive lots of Thai Yoga Massage to melt away
tension. This is all about getting quality time with your bestie or
your beloved.
In this workshop, you will be guided through a short practice of
partner-assisted yoga poses, then we’ll move into giving and
receiving Thai Yoga Massage techniques. This practice is all about
creating bliss, cultivating connection, healthy intimacy, stronger
communication, trust and deeper awareness with yourself and your
yoga partner. It is a practice to directly experience the root
principle of yoga: union. Partner Yoga promotes laughter and
creativity, concentration and balance, as well as relaxation and
rejuvenation.
Thai Yoga Massage is a unique form of yoga therapy that combines
stretching, compression massage, Thai Yoga postures, energy work
and meditation. You will experience it as a practice shared by two
people who alternate between the roles of being the 'giver' and the
'receiver'. This healing modality addresses muscular tension and
limited range of motion, eases challenges with circulation and is
excellent for the lymphatic system. The practice will allow you to
experience yoga postures in a whole new way, while helping you
release emotional and mental stress.
Come with a yoga partner, whether that’s a significant other or a
friend, and don’t forget to wear loose-fitting clothes. It’s
advised to finish eating at least 90 minutes before starting the
workshop. This workshop is NOT advised for those with injuries.
