Clara Hayes is teaching a fabulous Beginner’s Series at Soul Strong Yoga, 309 W Main St. in the Harrell Henna House!
Want to explore yoga for the first time or brush up on your
practice? This Beginners Series will be light-hearted and provide a
safe, fun space to explore the many poses of yoga and how to “flow”
in a yoga class. Clara will guide the class through not only proper
alignment, but finding the best alignment for your body. The class
will learn about and practice foundational yoga poses, such as
upward salute, the three warrior poses, triangle, extended side
angle, and balancing poses. We will also use yoga props, like
blocks, blankets, bolsters, and straps to get a deeper stretch and
better balance in a variety of poses.
Clara, a Soul Strong Yoga teacher and our staff writer, is passionate about bringing yoga to all people, all bodies, and all levels. She is honored to introduce students to the amazing health benefits yoga provides for both the body and mind in a small group setting.
This class is kept small to ensure that the group is provided individualized attention.

What to wear:
Just wear some comfortable yoga or athletic type clothing. You are going to be stretching and moving, so you want to be comfortable.
What to bring:
A yoga mat, hand towel, and water bottle. If you don't have a yoga mat, no problem! We can provide one for you free of charge!
Where to park:
You can park in our parking lot, on the street, or in the parking garage next door
What to do:
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to your first session to check-in and get comfortable.
