The fall season is upon us and as we begin to adjust to the change in seasons, it is also important to take the steps to prepare our minds and body for change. Yoga Nidra meditation is a perfect practice to experience a deeper connection to your inner state of being. Through this guided meditation you will be lead to a deeper state of rest, using the body and images as the points of concentration. Science has proven that when the body is relaxed, the parasympthetic nervous system response is stimulated. It is in this state of functioning that the body can rest, repair and heal. There is a decrease in heart rate, inflammation, stress hormone release and anxiety. Join Deb and learn how to create a Sankalpa (a vow/desire you wish to fulfill) and incorporate it into your Yoga Nidra/Meditation practice.
