Reiki is an therapeutic energy working modality that involves using the hands to direct energy to specific areas of the body to promote health in the body, mind, and spirit. The goal of Reiki is to re-balance and harmonize the energetic systems of the body, as well as enliven and clear the various pathways energy must travel through.

Reiki is becoming more main-stream:
Cancer Treatment Centers now utilize Reiki practitioners in their Integrative Health Departments to help their patients reduce stress, sleep better, and manage pain symptoms while undergoing treatment for cancer.

Symptoms of “stuck” energy or lack of energetic harmony can include: Feeling ungrounded, unclear, disempowered, feeling a sense of lack of direction, feeling stuck, feeling lethargic or unmotivated, feeling a sense of lack in your life, experiencing stunted sexuality, having a sustained inability to maintain your home or relationships. Some clients report feeling like something is “draining” their energy.

Many of these symptoms can be caused by stuck or misdirected energy, and reduce the health of the client as these difficulties eventually manifest in physical ailments. Reiki can help with all of these difficulties.

Reiki is Easy to Learn:
With Reiki, the practitioner doesn’t need years and years of cumulative practice to become an effective practitioner and provider of energy work. After just a few days of practice you will be empowered to practice energetic healing for yourself, and for others. Reiki is simple. It is powerful. It is effective.

Your Instructor - Tim VanDerKamp

Tim VanDerKamp is a 350hr certified yoga teacher, Reiki Master, Author, and Storyteller. He lives in New Orleans where he splits his time between teaching yoga classes, and maintaining his thriving Reiki Practice. He teaches energy clearing workshops, chakra yoga classes, chakra intensives, and Reiki Modules one, two, and three locally and abroad. He has recently been selected to teach Reiki to patients at the new Oschner Cancer Surgery Center in New Orleans, once the new building is completed.

Investment is $200 if registered and paid for by Saturday, 1/30/2021; $250 after that.
Those who have already taken this workshop with Tim will pay only $125! This must be arranged with the studio (there is NO online registration for this special, very low price). All in-studio participants are encouraged to bring non-refrigerated snacks or light meals and your drink so that we may continue to discuss as we enjoy nourishment. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing.
