Amidst these strange and challenging times I have been searching for a way to support the prenatal community at Wellborn. Physical touch is more important than ever... and since I cannot safely provide prenatal massage right now, I've decided the next best thing (possibly even better) is to teach partners and families skills to massage each other!

In this workshop we will go over

-proper prenatal massage positioning

-safety considerations for the pregnant body

-pace & pressure

-and simple and highly effective Thai massage techniques

Together we will move through a sequence that focuses on a mama's back, hips, shoulders and feet to relieve common prenatal aches and pains. In addition, if time permits, Bahia will also include 2-3 of her go-to Thai moves that a pregnant woman can apply to her partner that are therapeutic for both giver and receiver!

Please join me as we grow and expand creatively in new ways during this time.

*Massage partner can be anyone you are quarantining with!

To prepare you will need:

-Padded floor space

we will be down on the floor, so please find a place to setup where you can lay down yoga mats, and a few blankets on top. I find living room or bedroom floors to be the best. Carpeted floors and memory foam pads/mattress toppers are especially luxurious. Please put a flat sheet or blanket on top of your setup.
