Debra Joy Hart is the Spiritual Director and part-time minister at Unity Church and Spiritual Center in Urbana, IL and the creator of the 1000 Red Nose Project, a non-profit that hands out red noses to help promote peace, laughter and healthy humor in the world. Exploring the intersection of humanity, humor, grief, and the divine is a main theme in Deb’s professional and personal life. She has learned that humor, laughter, mirth and wit prevent hardening of the attitudes. She is a registered nurse for almost 30 years, a teacher, a clown, a minister and published humorist.
