In this week-long immersion, we'll establish our roots in the history of the yoga tradition, learn the ethical foundation of the practice, and discover tools and tips to feel energetically grounded. The week's curriculum includes practice and study of the yamas, 5 breathing exercises to induce calm and clarity, an introduction to the anatomy of our feet and legs, and the alignment principals that bring us stability in 15 fundamental postures. In addition to 6 daily, 2-hour study sessions, participants will recieve a companion manual and digital resources for daily at-home practice.
Students of all levels are welcome to participate in this practice immersion. Each 2 hour session will incorporate roughly 45-60 minutes of gentle to moderate movement. Have a notebook and pen, water to drink and layered clothing for comfort.
