C25K + YOGA invites participants to go as far and fast as they can in 30 minutes and then build more strength and flexibility on their mat afterwards. The program is set up like the Couch to 5K training program with an additional yoga component to compliment and boost your running. The ultimate goal is to finish the Rock N Roll Savannah 5K happily and and in your time goal if you have one. We will meet on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings at DDY to set up your mat first, then hit the road for 30 minutes, and return for 30 minutes of yoga and a brief discussion. This program is suitable for any skill and experience level on the road and on the mat. You are encouraged to bring your own yoga mat and water, but we do have both for sale and mats for rental at the studio if needed.
