What is Reiki?
Reiki is a holistic treatment that originated with the Buddhist monk Mikao Usui. This treatment is referred to as the laying of the palms or laying of hands. The treatment technique is a transfer of energy from the divine universe to you. The facilitator is simply the conduit for the prana to be directed through to the recipient to assist in bringing balance to the energy body.
Working with the prana or universal life force energy, you will begin to receive balance in the energy body.
What is Thai Yoga Healing?
Thai Yoga Healing is based on healing principles taken from Eastern healing arts. The Thai system focuses on circulation of vital energy in major pathways called Sen in Thailand or Nadiis in India. Energy lines are manipulated and important pressure points along these pathways are stimulated to help break down blockages, stimulate energy flow and restore balance and harmony. In addition to this assisted Yoga postures are used and treatment effects are enhanced when the patient is fully relaxed and breathing deeply.
