We are SO excited to have our very first Biggest Loser Contest here at Defi Fitness Studio. The contest will run 6 weeks from Sunday July 10th - Sunday August 21th. We will have weekly drawings and give aways, as well as end of contest prizes for the winners.
Weigh ins shoud be sent to Kelly at firstname.lastname@example.org Sat 7/9/22 morning. Then each week you will weigh in on Sunday morning as well. The only person seeing your weight and progress will be Kelly. You will email me your weight and % weight lost that week Sunday mornings. Then we will have all drawings for prizes on Mondays.
During the contest you will earn a ticket for every class you attend, and can put your name in, every single class you do to. So if you go to three a day, that is 3 names in the jar for that day. This is where we will draw from for the weekly prizes.
At the end of the contest there will be a cash prize for highest % of body weight lost, and depending on how many enter the contest, second and third place will also have cash and/or prizes!
To calculate weight loss percentage, divide the amount of weight lost by your starting weight, then multiply that by 100: (pounds lost/starting weight) x 100. Everyone should start by setting a goal of losing between 0.5 and 2 pounds per week. Remember you may not lose EVERY WEEK and that is ok. The goal is to start being mindful of what we are eating, and staying active throughout the week. NOT to be skinny :-)
