My intention is to support your goals for healing by integrating a somatic meditation practice into your health and self-care program.

Somatic means “in the body.” My approach to “meditation” is training yourself to sit comfortably and peacefully, so that your inner-source of restoration can work without interference.

You'll cultivate an enjoyable & dynamic practice of healing and connection over the course of 8-weeks.

Our approach is simple: Invite your inner-healing process to take over and step out of the way. When your body tells you it’s time to make a change or take action, do so. Everything you need is already happening and we just want to dial into that and participate openly and willingly.

My process:

I recommend starting with eight sessions, conducted weekly or bi-weekly, in addition to practicing daily at home. This is the average time it takes to establish your personal practice and experience measurable shifts in your quality of being.

Session 1: (90-minutes) Witness & Intention Setting

In the first 90-minute session, we’ll witness what you wish to heal by talking about it and noting where you feel it in your body. I will listen and ask questions. My questions are not to identify “causes” or “solutions,” rather to give your inner-wisdom an opportunity to speak through inquiry. After that, we’ll use a meditative breath/movement exercise to bring awareness back into the body so that you can set a meaningful healing intention for your work. You’ll go home with a simple, personalized meditation to practice daily at home.

Sessions 2 - 4: (60-minutes) Allowing

You’ll increase the amount of time in your stillness practice and begin to work with your body’s healing intelligence as it comes up.

Session 5 - 7: (60-minutes) Expanding

Stillness and action are as interdependent as the sun and the moon. Your meditation seat allows your healing process to begin, and taking skillful action in your life allows the circle to complete. Your daily meditations and meditation journal will inform the small and essential steps to take in your life.

Session 8: (60-minutes) Reflecting

In our last session of the series, we’ll reflect on what has shifted and what remains the same. You may decide to continue our sessions, or continue the path you’ve started on your own.

Practice location:

I like to work in-person whenever I can though I find Zoom sessions work well when in-person meetings aren’t possible. We want to work in a space that you feel comfortable & at home. I am happy to meet at the studio, a favorite park or at your home.
