The Big Om Yoga Retreat was created to bring the local yoga community together for a fun and deep weekend of yoga, workshops and connection.
We’re changing things up at the Winter Retreat this
year. The theme for this retreat in the past has always been
“rebirth or renewal” in alignment with the “new year” energy.
That doesn’t feel aligned for us anymore. Society
pushes us into this “new year, new you” cycle that goes directly
against nature. In January we are still in the dead of winter.
We’re moving slow, going inward and allowing for leaves that have
fallen away to continue to decay into the earth for more fertile
ground for the Spring.
In honor of this shift in our perspective, the new
theme of the Winter Retreat is “Death”.
We hope you’ll join us. Every day small parts of us
die and new things are reborn. We’ll explore this more
intentionally this winter.
