Derived from a Sanskrit root word meaning to call, recite or praise, kirtan is the act of praising and glorifying some form of divinity.

While such glorification can be expressed in a variety of ways, including, poetry, dance, or any form of oral recitation,
kirtan, in its most well-known form, is the call and response singing of a mantra.

You don’t need a beautiful voice to join but just an open mind/heart.

This event will start with a meditation before going into the chanting. Bolsters, blankets and other props are provided

Our Kirtan Leader - Zayd Mseis - is a musician, eco farmer and a certified Yoga Teacher, who splits his time between family and 2 homes in Lafayette and Jordan. Take advantage of this auspicious happening while he is in the US.
