This yin yoga workshop is designed for the yoga teacher who wants to gain more confidence teaching or subbing the healing practice of yin. In this 4 hour workshop you will first experience the magic of a yin yoga practice as a student and then switch your teacher brain on to learn about the history and methodologies of teaching yin! We will end the afternoon with an overview of the most fundamental yin postures, creative ways to prop them, and a generous amount of time for Q&A.

In this session you will be introduced to:
The history of “Yin Yoga”
The difference between restorative and yin
5 ways to theme a yin class
How to sequence a yin practice
How and when to utilize breathwork in yin
How to prop and offer modifications for an accessible yin practice

Students should be trained to teach yoga or in training. Students should bring a notebook and pen.
